What Are You Doing Wednesday Eve?

If you’re in the Atlanta area, please join us for a fun evening of book talk Wednesday, October 25, at the Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee. Buy tickets here.

DOMA is a cool venue with gorgeous meeting space … and great drinks! Below is one of their wall displays, a photo I took not long after the place opened in August 2022.

I’ll be there with three other Atlanta authors and friends:

  • Jeff Clemmons, author of a fascinating history of Rich’s department store. The book is also a fascinating history of the city of Atlanta, impeccably researched and entertainingly told;
  • Robert Gwaltney, 2023 winner of the Georgia Writers Association’s Author of the Year award for best first novel, The Cicada Tree, a glorious Southern Gothic tale;
  • Alex White, author of A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe and other science fiction novels. Booklist describes Big Ship as a combination of magic and space opera, “a fast-paced adventure with charismatic characters and formidable enemies.”

Our panel will be moderated by Read It Again Bookstore, a terrific indie bookstore in Suwanee. The shop has frequent events at the Distillery.

We thank them for celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride in Atlanta with us.

DOMA does ask that you purchase your tickets in advance, so please check out their events page.

We’d love to see you there!

And, as always, thanks for your interest in my book.
